The advertisment for bar and restraunt that does Not exist. The rooms are very basic. The people that rented from private apartment owners were the lucky ones.

Owner very rude. Handed out various passports to the wrong people and completely lost mine, resulting in a mad dash to the police station and the British Consulate to obtain an emergency passport for my flight home. Cheap as chips to stay there but now we know why - forget it!

I have just returned from Europark 74 and can confirm the Bates Motel is alive (or dead) and kicking in Belanmadena. This place was either built or last refurbished in 1974 hence the name. Despite the other reviews we found Juan and his staff friendly and helpful. The appartment was basic but then we didn't go on holiday to stay in the hotel all day!
