The apartments were clean, basic but good value for money. I would recommend, only thing that let them down was although they had satellie TV, all the channels were in either spanish or german, BBC 24 would have been nice if nothing else. What can you expect in playa del ingles? This hotel was built in the 70ies and is now a bit old. But the rooms are ok, location is great and from my balcony I can see the sea. It lacks 2 things: Wifi in the room. I have only bad reception at the balcony... And cleaning. Management economised on this.... More

A pros and cons list for my stay (1 week) in Don Diego, Don Diego was re-opened and got new owner(s) per march 2010 (keep this in mind when viewing older reviews!) Stayed here for first time but 15 times to Playa del Ingles. Bargain price as booked separately with Travel Repubic, and had some reservations regarding its rooms and the tiny pool. Previous reviewer mentioned the check in fiasco-we had same problem-theres no reception as such and all the admin work and cleaning seems to be done by two very nice... More
