The hotel was ok. They make you pay for WiFi, but it didn't work. We had to get our money back and used the slow internet they had in the lobby that you have to pay for. The breakfast was the same every morning. They did not clean our room everyday. Overall, I think the hotel is overrated.

Just back from a weeks stay at the Barbacan, Hotel staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. Nice hotel and the apartments are very nice, restaurant in the morning are very polite, the one downside was the buffet breakfast was not allowed to run low when i asked for bacon i was told wait 15 minuted, when i did arrive it was only just cooked, otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

We visited the Sol Barbacan over the Easter weekend and enjoyed our stay. We've stayed here on several occasions & always found it very good. However this time 2 things have started to irritate me. Stayed in one of the apartments rather than the main building. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Nicely decorated and very well furnished. Friendly and welcoming reception staff. Buffet breakfast was a little disappointing although it was nicer to make coffee and toast in the apartment. I will probably stay here again.
