Room was 113.00 with a discount, thought that was high for this area. The room and breakfast were very good. I would try to stop prior to or just after for a better price. Call me cheap...

It's nice to have a fresh, newish Holiday Inn Express in Ozona. The room was clean and in good repair. Breakfast was included. It was a standard, modest hotel buffet. Cereals, yogarts, juice, coffee, buns, sauage links, fruit, and the like. Nothing special, but it's nice to have it included right there in the hotel. The breakfast area was kept...

We're fans of the HIE for an overnight stay but, frankly, given this one was in Ozona our expectations weren't very high. We're pleased to say our expectations were greatly exceeded here.
The building is only a couple of years old so little wear and tear on rooms and public spaces.
Everything, rooms, baths and public spaces were spotless.
Our...

We drive from Houston to Santa Fe, New Mexico frequently and the Holiday Inn Express in Ozona is about half-way along the trip for us. This is a very, very nice Holiday Inn. It is well-run, quiet, modern, comfortable and basically has all of the attributes you hope for after a long-days drive. There are a few places to eat...

I was on road when I wanted a place to break, found this property to be fairly new and decided to book here. The hotel gets booked early - so I would advise you to book fairly early in the day.
The hotel is new - the rooms are super clean - there's also free breakfast, free wifi, microwave oven...

We liked the room and the bed but the "full" breakfast ranks as one of the worst ever. At 8am they were out of scrambled eggs, the egg/cheese offering was artificial eggs and processed cheese. The bacon was limp and tasteless. No fruit or anything healthy. Not sure Holiday Inn Express can compete with Hampton or La Quinta.
After reading some not so good reviews, we are surprised how nice& clean it was.
As far as the grave yard, there is no window for that side so there is no issue here.
The staff were very professional and extremely helpful.
The room was very clean, bathroom is all granite and modern.
The price is unbelievably reasonable! The only...

During our vacation in August, we really needed to break the drive from Big Bend NP to Houston, and the location was perfect on the map. I was very skeptical booking this hotel, especially after a very unpleasant experience in Alpine, TX. Ozona is a tiny little place, a provincial town. I was expecting something neglected and with no service....

First impression... where is the staff... have to call out for service...Then she comes out holding her iphone... and not looking too interested in being disturbed from what she was doing in the back... Room stinks... smells like dirty old socks... Only reason I chose Holiday Inn was because there was no Hampton Inn Suites... in town... Never stay in...

Was not expecting anything quite this nice. Did a prepaid reservation to break an 800 mile trip to visit friends into a 2 day drive. Check-in great, prompt service and sincere smiles. Following all better than anticipated and much better than average: room size, cleanliness, furnishings, comfort of bed & chairs, wonderful attitude of employees.
Complimentary self-service hot breakfast was...
