Glad to be back at The Prairie in Round Top, TX. Love visiting with the staff (Danny, Marie...) and enjoying the views. Breakfast in the Ranger Lounge is one of the highlights of our mornings. I'm always impressed with the amount of thought that went into every detail of the property.

The Prairie truly is a special place. There is a special beauty that shows in all the thoughtful little details. Comfort and Peace are found in abundance. Comfortable beds with luxury linens, shabby chic country decor, delicious breakfast and the nicest most easy-going people!! It's WONDERFUL! You gotta go.

We had the grand opportunity to stay here three times from NC...It truly is a special Prairie..with a simply grand sense of inspiration, comfort and the essence of the Texas we so love that keeps us coming twice a yr from NC.....we LOVE everything ..from the wide opens spaces....Danny's breakfasts...from the Meadow Manor, Bluebonnet, and now the Faith Cottage....words can... The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell is simply devine! When we arrived the setting was perfect and the staff was delightful.(Many thanks to Marie)! The Prairie is now a favorite on our list of places to stay, my wife and I will be back. We would highly recommend to anyone...what a treat! Thank you and 5 stars!

A new favorite get-away from Austin; it felt like a world away. The scenic property was a perfect setting for rest and focus on our friends. The gently restored historic accommocations were comfortable and charming. The service was friendly; breakfast was great. I highly recommend The Prarie for groups. We'll be back soon!
