This is where the construction workers stay. Run down dirty. Carpet was so dirty I would not walk bare foot. Bottom sheet was a flat not a fitted sheet that was tangled all night. Coffee maker in room so dirty I would not ust it. Wall beside bed dirty and marked up. Front desk clerk bored and unfriendly. We heard...

Traveling west on I-40 and couldn't find a room. It was getting very late and I was so tired. I called this hotel and the desk clerk held a room for me. I got in at 1:30am. Checkin was smooth, room was sufficient.
I stayed here in 2006 and it was a great value. Things are different in September 2011. The discounted price of $39 for a single (advertised in a travel booklet) was not honored "because all of those rooms were taken." Yet the motel had only about 25% occupancy. The lowest rate we could get was $66, which doesn't sound bad--but...

The hotel was the only one available for 2 of the nights of my 14 day stay in Shamrock.. Luckily I made reservations at the best western in town for the rest of my stay in case I wanted to move for the rest of my stay. I can deal with old but I cannot and shouldn't have to deal...

Average motel. It's definitely seen better days. The price was right. No major complaints about the Irish Inn. it just looks a bit neglected.
When we checked in we asked if there was wifi and was told "yes". After we checked in and killed all the flies in the room we tried the internet - Nope!! Called the office "Oh, we've been having problems with that. If you want "you" can call AT&T, or some people can get it in the office or by...

Room was absolutely filthy - because I had a small 12yr old poodle they refused to change my room - no more 'pet' rooms available. Made no offer to clean. It was after 10:30 when we got to our room and nothing else was available in the vicinity that we could find. After a 14 hour road trip we needed...

The rooms are large and clean. They have been updating and they have new carpet. The front desk staff are some of the friendliest hotel staff I've met. They have an indoor pool and my daughter loved it. For the price, this is a great place to stay.
Being Irish, of course I had to stay in Shamrock and The Irish Inn. It looked nice enough from the outside and the girl on reception was really friendly and helpful. But that's about it. The Inn is a large sprawling place with not much going on. My room was fairly basic...no real comfort. The room and the Inn could...
