Went for conference. Even off-season, hiking trails easily accessible from hotel provided spectacular views of the area. Rooms very clean & updated. Front desk exceptionally pleasant & service oriented. Complimentary shuttle will take u to & from bus stop with free buses to main tourist areas.

I recently went to a conference at this hotel. Since I didn't have a choice as to where to stay, I was a little nervous based on the reviews I had read about this hotel. I worried for nothing! The rooms have been renovated and are not outdated as stated in previous reviews. The room was very comfortable. I had... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his work event, which was being held at the hotel. The overall location of the hotel on the slopes was great...with easy access to the lifts and their snow beach, with gourmet hot chocoloates. But, the hotel itself left a bit to be desired. Our room was just average and awkwardly decorated. The... More

Thank you for your kind words about our resort and our location with regard to the ski area. We are quite proud of many of the recent developments we have made at Canyons, including the gourmet hot chocolate, and we hope to continue to improve year over year. Thank you for your feedback on our rooms. I am sorry to... More

This was my first tine to the area, and the hotel was difficult to find in the dark with all of the construction. The room was large with a nice kitchenette. There was no hot water for the shower. Maintenance came and told me to run both bathroom sinks and the tub on full until it became hot. That took... More

First stay at Canyons. The location to the ski mountain can't be beat. Very family friendly as they have ski school, child watch, jugglers, kids parade, outdoor concerts all here. The hotel amenities were my favorite part of the resort. Heated pool, hot tub, steam, sauna, gym, and massage is what I would come back for. Rooms are dated and decorated... More

We've been to a number of resort & spa locations. We're apprehensive when we book deep tissue massages, this was not the case at this location. From the minute we walked in we felt we may have hit this one right. My therapist Wendy was an accomplished therapist with 12 years of experience that in a limited time frame (50... More

What a great review on our Canyons Resort Spa! I was so pleased to hear that Wendy and Sarah did such a great job eliminating your apprehension with a deep tissue massage. It sounds like these ladies hit all of those "muscles that needed attention". Also glad that you felt that the "swim through pool to the hot tubs is... More

The locals were complaining about a lack of snow - but don't they always? We thought there wasmore than enough of the white stuff at The Canyons for us to enjoy 8 uninterrupted days of skiing. Whatever the conditions, Grand Summit Hotel is perfectly located to enjoy them. The two principal lifts - an 8 person gondola and a 4... More

The Canyons is a fantastic place to stay if you are a skiier/snowboarder. The balcony from our room looked out at the Canyon's Orange Bubble lift chair. It was a blast to wake up, run outside and hope on the lift. I think our room was smaller than most (our friend's room was 3x the size), the only downfall was... More

This review applies to the "hotel" room stay, not the parlor or suite stay. We had no idea that the room we reserved was really part of a condominium unit. It smaller than ANY hotel/motel room I have ever stayed in. My college dorm room was larger. It had two beds and a small student desk and chair, NO chair... More

I greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your recent experience at the Grand Summit. Regarding the size of your room, I can tell you that some of our single hotel rooms that connect to a large living room and kitchen are in fact quite small. Many of our guests appreciate the coziness of a small room with a... More
