In short, I highly recommend Harvey's Lake Cabins (HLC) for those who want peace and quiet. Just spent a great labor day weekend with my wife at HLC. It was sooooo relaxing. The cabins have fully equipped kitchens with an out-door grill and fire pit. Our cabin was situated right on the Harvey's Lake with a spectacular view. There are... More

Cute little cabins nestled next to a quiet lake. Each cabin has a picnic table, fire pit. No phones, tvs or wifi. Peace and quiet. Bring your own sheets and towels. Full kitchens.

My girlfriend and I tried to rent a cabin here during Memorial Day weekend. We were not even 20 minutes away according to the GPS. This is when we came to a closed road. No problem we looked for an alternative route. The alternative route was also closed. At this point I called to cancel our cabin rental. The lady... More

Myself, husband and our dog madison stayed in cabin 18. Our trip was for 3 days but we cut it short because of cold down pouring rain. We were so looking forward to this vacation but there was nothing to do with rain falling non stop. Marybeth was so kind to us trying to help anyway she could. The cabin was... More

Very spacious and comfortable well kept cabin with well equiped kitchen in quiet campground. We had a relaxing laborday weekend fishing, feeding the ducks and sitting around the campfire. General store and farm stand are close by, farmers market in St Johnsbury worth checking out. Mary Beth the owner was pleasant and very helpful

This was our second summer spending a week here. It was absolutely terrific. Our two young boys loved every minute. The cabin is very cozy, with fantastic views of the lake. Mary Beth (owner) is very friendly and accommodating. The kids had a blast fishing, swimming and riding their bikes around. We loved it.

We have been going to this campground for 3 seasons now. This will be our first year with our own camper. We have always stayed in Cabin 52, and will miss it. It is described just as it sits. You can tell from the price its not a luxury cabin (that is also available for you to choose from) We... More

We stayed at the small "secluded" cabin 52 and all I can say is: BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING!! It's descibed as cozy and charming, but i'd say it's more musty and rundown than anything. It's situated near the property line so we sat around the firepit and watched the nieghbors mow their lawn. Ahh---just what I think of when I... More

Visited Labor Day weekend. We own a pop-up camper. We were assigned to site 38 - the electricity did not work but we were given an extension cord to plug into the site next to us. It worked out fine. The site was not equipped for a pop-up camper however. It was small, a bit muddy and had lots of... More
