Set the way back machine Sherman to 1975, the days before high speed quads, before customer service, and when you still had to boil your drinking water. Just got back from March break and yes there was a boil water advisory in the condos at Bolton Valley. Condos were fine but probably at their prime 20 years ago. Servicing of... More

We were some of the lucky ones who headed to Bolton Valley this past weekend 2/24-2/26 during a snowstorm where the resort got 2 ft of fresh snow!!! OMG what an amazing ski experience. This is the ONLY choice if you are skiing this mountain. I was shocked when I walked in our room and saw an amazing view of... More

After reading the negative reviews on here I was hesitant to stay at Bolton Valley but it was in the price range I was looking for. The ski and stay package turned out to be a good deal at $99 per person and it included hotel room, lift tickets, and a continental breakfast(not much to choose from but you could... More

My stay was not during the ski season. The surroundings were nice, the service was very good and the room was clean. During ski season the location would be great.

I came to the Northfield and Burlington area to attend my son’s graduation at Norwich University on 17 June 2011. While I do understand that this part of Vermont does not have the Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt I do have a reasonable expectation that a lodging facility will be clean, relatively up-to-date and accommodating. The Resort was everything but that.... More

My family and I wanted to go to Vermont for a couple of days to sight see and tours. I chose the best western hotel but that was all filled. I had never stayed at this "resort" before but it sounded good from their website wich boasts lift side lodging, restaurants and a sports complex with a pool and jacuzzi,... More

My daughter and I needed a place to stay close to Norwich University. Bolton Valley Resort fit our needs just right, just under 40 minutes. Not knowing the surrounding area, and wanting a place to relax after our drive so we ate dinner at the lodge. The Tavern's fireplace gave the dining area warmth and a great cozy felling. And,... I went to the Bolton Valley Resort with my ski club one weekend in early January. My roommate and I arrived late (it was about an 8-hour drive). It was easy to check in and we had a nice, big room. However, there were three of us in this room. When I inquired about a discount, the front desk said... More

Got a great deal at this place for an early season ski and stay. The place is very nice, there was nothing "Yuck" about it. The room was everythign i expected, I wasn't looking for a 5 star room, i knew what to expect of a small ski resort. The room was big, the bed was big, had a nice... More

This hotel is awful. Everything is broken, Hot tub is out of order. Restaurant is expensive and not good. Service is rude. When we spoke to the manager she didn't seem to care and didn't offer anything to make us happier. Walls are thin. Rooms are really small. Water pressure is weak. Not fun at $170/night.
