Had a one night stay there recently on our way from Boston to Quebec. Very nice basic accomodations with freindly owners and a very clean room. Good location just a few minutes drive to downtown Burlington.

We were in Burlington on a very congested weekend--Memorial Day, the marathon, various college graduations--so options were limited. We chose the BelAire based on Tripadvisor reviews, and clean and basic were what we got. Firm mattresses, clean room, tiny spaces, cordial and helpful staff. Good for a short stay, but after three nights we were glad to move on.

Had read good reviews about this family-run motel and had a pleasant 2 night stay in May. The welcome was warm and helpful and the coffee in Reception was good and strong. The room decor wasn't to my taste, but my husband loved it, he's a fan of motels. The bed was comfortable but the room had a few odd... More

My friend and I were looking for somewhere fairly inexpensive to stay while we were on a decently long road trip. We eventually stumbled up on the Bel Aire Motel, and decided to give it a shot. We were blown away. To say it's "good, especially for a motel" would be doing a disservice to how awesome the people are,... More

My family, my parents, and my sister (with her two young sons) all stayed at the Bel Air last weekend and it could not have been more pleasant. It was graduation weekend for UVM and every one of the big chain hotels was booked solid and very expensive, but there was room for all of us and we were very... More

Stayed at the Bel Air in spring of 2013 while looking at colleges with my son. Older rooms in need of updating. Television was hard to see. Our room had a small fridge and sink, but no coffeemaker. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom small but functional. It over a mile downtown so a good 20-25 minutes. UVM and Champlain College are... More

This little gem of a motel is one of the best around the Burlington, VT area. The hosts are kind, gracious, and very accommodating. The room and suite fees are very reasonable. The rooms, though quaint, are always spotless, fresh, and well-appointed with comfy beds and more than adequate bed coverings. It is always quiet and refreshing, too, to sit... More

Stayed at this Motel for 2 nights during Mardi Gras. Cheap, Clean, and convenient. Check in was a breeze, the owners who worked there were incredibly nice and didn't mind giving us some extra pillows! I would stay again. Our Room and last room 11&12 do not have wi-fi..

This is an old style motel that is privately owned. The lady that checked us in was very helpful. She gave us our keys for the room. Keys! That took me back several years. Hotels never use real keys anymore. Our room was large and the bathroom was huge and both were very clean. We had one of the "suites".... More

Built in the style of the old roadside motel and redecorated in an interesting style, this was a great place to stop. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, my room was clean and quiet with parking outside and the centre of Burlington was a 20 easy walk away.
