Kimball House is a wonderfully B&B with authentic period decor and an overwhleming abundance of details, warmth and a generous home-cooked breakfast. Sue is very welcoming and fun and the house is terrifically comfortable and the area perfect: perched on a hill it is still just walking distance from the village with good restaurants.

I've been to a lot of B&B's in my time and this one was the best! Sue takes such pride in running the house. My daughter had a ski race in Craftsbury and the Kimball House was such a convenient location, just 20 minutes south of the ski center in Hardwick, and really affordable. We returned recently to the Kimball house and could not have been more delighted for the Craftsbury Marathon. The house is spectacular and Sue is a gracious and knowledgeable host. Every detail is perfect. My husband enjoyed the wonderful antique bathtub after the marathon. It did wonders for his sore muscles. Breakfasts both mornings were wholesome.

What a fabulous find! My husband and I stayed at the Kimball House for an overnight getaway and it was perfect! The room was comfortable, the breakfast was fabulous, our hosts were informative and helpful. The view from the porch is amazing and the walk into Hardwick was easy and fun. We will return!

We waited too long in making reservations for our annual weekend cross country weekend with our friends from Washington DC.
