On the positive side, this hotel is well located if you are visiting Middlebury. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are clear. On the negative side, the internet was down the night I arrived (that happens, I understand.) More importantly, I had a lousy night's sleep. The A/C units all over the hotel are loud. The one in my... More

The room was spacious and immaculate. Pool was too cold to use, but whirlpool was nice. Breakfast was not included and was priced $8.95 for a Continental style breakfast and $9.95 for a hot breakfast buffet...for what is free at many other hotels.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate it! We are happy you found your room spacious and immaculate. We work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Our pool temperature is kept at 82 degrees which is warm to some but cooler than our body temperature. It may seem cool at first, but is very comfortable for swimming laps. Marriott International... We have stayed here a few times while visiting our son at Middlebury. It is close to campus, and right across from the grocery store, which is handy. The staff was very nice - the workout room small but clean and sufficient. One thing I've noticed about Courtyard Marriotts: the hotels need to invest in all new sheets and towels.... More

Thank you for your candid review. We appreciate knowing the areas we can improve on. Courtyards require 200 thread count on their bed linens which are comfortable for many. Some people are more sensitive than others so if you request an "allergy free" room we can be sure to extra rinse the linens to maybe help with the feel. We... More

My family and I stayed here while visiting Middlebury College. The front desk staff were so nice and helpful, from making my reservation, to check-in, dinner suggestions and driving directions. Our room was quite large and very clean. The hotel is cose to town, just less than a mile to the south of Middlebury. I would come back here in... More

Thank you for your nice review! We pride ourselves in our customer service so it is nice to hear we are on track. Our Guest Satisfaction Surveys rank our Front Desk Staff in the top 5 out of 825 Courtyards. We would like to keep it that way. Robin Vaughan Sales Manager More

Stayed here for one night this past weekend. Location is very accessible and less than a mile to the cute Middlebury downtown. Gas station and shopping within walking distance, but a car is helpful if you want to experience the quaint downtown strip. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the rooms were good-sized and recently updated. Decor is your... More

My family and I just stayed at this Courtyard while skiing at nearby Middlebury Snow Bowl. The hotel is well kept and clean. The hotel, in fact, is currently undergoing a renovation which did not impact our stay in the least. Unfortunately, we were advised by hotel management that Marriott corporation no longer allows Courtyards to offer complementary breakfasts to... More

Well, after reading the other reviews...yes it is a clean place to stay. And the lobby drinks and computers are a convenience. It is close to Middlebury College. Negatives-the rate is a MOVING TARGET! They say 1 thing and your bill reflects another. Sometimes we were given the AAA rate, sometimes the gov rate and sometimes the "standard" rate. We... More

We do require identification for certain rates to be available. We do this at the request of the discount provider, AAA or AARP are examples. They both provide their members identification cards. Requiring that they be presented allows us to protect the value and integrity of the program for the program provider and the program participant. Additionally, we require identification... More

We were rescued by this hotel after escaping one of the worst places I've ever stayed! I booked through a chain website via the phone. Even though I was booked at a lower rate under the "rewards member rate", the hotel gave me the lower rate anyway. After we told the ladies at the front desk our horror story from... More
