Similar to greystone motel. Rooms were clean. Good price. I wish they gave complementary toiletries like greystone motel. I would stay here again.

Not really, but the two places are nearly identical. Cheap, right on Route 7, but not really near anything else. Purely a place to lay your head after a night's worth of activities, and then off to somewhere else as soon as possible. Not a terrible motel, just not a good one.Old School roadside Motel all the way.
I saw this place online and it did not look bad. The price was only $79.00 for the night. I only needed to stay one night so I can visit Middlebury College the next morning with my wife and college bound daughter. After a very long drive from Long Island I was extremely disappointed upon pulling into the driveway. Immediately...

I have come here to stay for my work on an weekly basis and go home on weekends. The rooms I have been stayed in are and is always very clean. I have referred to
co- workers and they seem to be pleased as well. Looking at the reviews there are 2 yrs plus old. I dont see them like...

When we pulled up to the motel my wife said, "I'm not staying here". We went to the desk to check in and they couldn't find a key to the room, so they had to give us the master. I was told the room was located around back past the pot holes. Well the pot holes they were talking about...

After reading the reviews, my friends and I were pretty frightened of having to spend a night at the Blue Spruce Motel. Upon driving into Middlebury and seeing the motel for the first time, all of the signs did not look promising. However, we judged the motel too soon.
Checking in was easy and the owners were very kind and...

This place is in desperate need of renovations. Old paint, bathroom small, carpet worn, little kitchen which was all torn up enclosed behind louvered doors. The biggest thing, people have smoked in the room for years and that odor just can't be masked other than gutting the whole inside. We wouldn't have stayed here, but every hotel in the immediate...

The Blue Spruce was an interesting experience. The motel itself was what I expected for the price: nothing extravagent, but sufficient. I was happy for the most part. The rooms were a little outdated and small, but again...what I paid for. I wasn't looking for anything amazing; I just wanted a place to stay. The breakfast was good and the...

I stayed at the Blue Spruce for a couple of days while visiting a friend in the area. It was affordable, which was my main priority, and my room was clean. This is neither a B&B nor a chain hotel, but a small individually owned roadside motel. (I think the owners live on site.) It's a rectangular building, single story,...

PROS: I stayed with my daughter on an extremely cold winter night while visiting my son at Middlebury. The price seemed fair, with breakfast included. The owners are friendly and the breakfast area was neat and clean. You could make your own waffles, or have cereal, bagels, and many types of drinks. The room was clean and cozy with a...
