Do stay for dinner; do wake up hungry for (included) breakfast. Don't expect much from the accommodations. And don't get me wrong: the Inn is clean and the rooms are okay, but we expected a bit more from the descriptions on line. Ours had a sink in the room and the toilet and tub in a very small bathroom (!),... More

My fiance and I booked a ski trip to Mt Snow to celebrate his birthday. The website described the inn as "luxurious" and the descriptions sounded perfect for our stay. Upon arrival, the innkeeper was very unwelcoming. Although not rude, she certainly didn't have the outgoing, warm personality you expect from people in the hospitality industry. It seemed the guests... More

I am very sorry that you did not have a good experience. Let me start by explaining a few things. It is very difficult to make sure a guest chooses the correct room for their expectations when we don't speak to the guest directly. In this age of computers, many people book online. There are a few rooms that were... More

We stayed here for New years. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, it kind of had a stuffy feel. Like being in the room of your grandmother's house that has plastic on the couches. Our room was very tiny and it got so hot at night we had to use a fan in Vermont, in January! This was... More

We did not actually stay at the Inn but had a wonderful and delicious dinner there on Xmas eve. The service was leisurely, and the dinner took 2 hrs but we enjoyed it and even our tween daughters did great. In fact, one of them is a very picky eater (not as in just liking chicken nuggets but as in... More

We recently went to Mount Snow vermont for a getaway weekend and stayed at The Doveberry Inn. We were greeted warmly by the innkeeper, and explained all the info we would need for our stay. We were hoping to see Moose while in Vermont, but the places we went and hiking we did, did not produce a glimpse, that's ok... More

My wife and I stayed at the Inn for 3days, 2 nights in October in order to enjoy the Foliage season that New England is famous for. When we arrived, we were greeted by our host,Christine, she gave us some information and pointed us to the Victorian Room. The room was charming but rather plain, the bed was comfortable and... More

My husband and I stayed here for a 3 night ski trip. This place is very cozy and warm. We didn't really know what to expect, but our experience was above our expectations. Our room was very quiet, and we had control over the temperature, which was great. There is free wireless in the lobby, which is definitely a perk.... More

The towels are a rented linen service and we only have 2 to choose from in the area, so I am sorry if they were not that nice, I would have replaced them with the better ones, but I do not have the facility to do my own towels. As far as the quilt? Which room were you in, because... More

My other half and I decided, at the last minute, to join a couple of our friends on a ski trip to Mount Snow. We booked at the Doveberry Inn and our friends stayed at the Nordic Inn. The other couple did visit us and they did say they preferred the Doveberry B&B and would book there the next time... More

Booked with two days notice and stayed in their top room, The Garden Room. The property is not really 'basic' as some reviewer's have commented. I would rather call it 'un-fussy'. The hosts are very accommodating and I would definitely not recommend a stay anywhere in West Dover without a trip to the Doveberry restaurant. The food there is the... More

We recently stayed at The Doveberry Inn for a four-day getaway weekend. The Doveberry has a great location near Mt. Snow and the center of town where there are lots of boutiques and restaurants. It is a very very simple inn; there are no cute charms here. The room we stayed in (The South Room) was incredibly small and had... More
