I stayed in this hotel overnight when just passing through. I was disappointed. The carpet in the halls was stained in several spots on my floor. The ceiling in the hall ways was a dropped ceiling making the place feel cheap. The carpet in my room was worn out and the bedding was a disappointment. While it was all white,... More

This is an older, typical Courtyard that is working on upgrades. We have stayed here a few times over the years and while it is getting older, it doesn't mean that it is getting worse. It is very consistent in our opinion and is our choice when traveling to Charlottesville. We always get a king room, with the sofa bed.... More

Very clean, well maintained. They are doing some renovating now, but no disruptions. Great breakfast included with the room. We had a king room with a sofa bed. Quiet hotel. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Great location!Staff are great. Very friendly. More

Yes, I was a fool for giving this place a shot after seeing some questionable reviews. When we first arrived I noticed it was run down. When we got to our room it had one bed rather than the two beds we were promised. They brought a roll away bed and said they would move us the next night to... More

Spent one night in the Courtyard. Hotel lobby is doing renovations so they set up temporary registration in a meeting room , converted two rooms with a curtain to the public bathrooms and set up breakfast in another meeting room. Paid $104 for a weekend rate which for Charlottesville in the spring is reasonable. The breakfast was free during the... More

A little dated but staff were very nice. Breakfast was awesome. Lobby is under renovation and will probably be helped very much by the improvements. More

Love how the workout equipment room is near the front desk, but still not seen. You don't have to worry about how late or early you want to work out if you are traveling alone. ( Some hotels have the fitness area next to a deserted conference room hallway with doors leading to the parking lots). Staff is friendly and... More

Room was clean and comfortable. A bit dated in the hallways and only one elevator all the way in the back of the hotel. Staff was nice and rate was reasonable. Decent location but certainly not a walk to UVa. Much better than the Fairfield across the road. More

Spent one night here in early December and did not have a lot of time here, but was very impressed with the cleaniness and comfort of my room. Recently when I've been traveling I've tended to stay more at Holiday Inn Express, but Marriott's Courtyards are much nicer. There are two Courtyards in Chalottesville, and I think some of the... We stayed here for a college visit and it is a great location to the campus. Nice lobby, good buffet breakfast, they will do special order eggs for you. But when we got back to the room it had this bad, musty/moldy smell that never went away. Good covered parking, but tight to maneuver. Very pricey but that must be... More
