Nothing else matters if I can't take a hot shower. Got about 7 minutes of lukewarm water before it went cold. I hope this was an isolated incident; however, I would be afraid to return and find out. More

Usual good service of Hampton Inns; helpful staff, good location near the hospital, the university and the downtown mall. Gorgeous lobby, very comfortable to wait for others; separate and comfortable computer/business center off the lobby. Only issue was the lock plate on the door; we could see the hall light around the entire door, hear everything in the corridor. More

The hospitality of the staff is outstanding. They are all professionally, neatly dressed, even the maintenance personnel. The staff is always busy cleaning, straightening up, etc. At the breakfast in the morning, the staff is right there, picking up, cleaning tables, making the area always ready for guests. I stayed three nights at the University Hampton Inn in Charlottesville, VA. It was a good stay. I slept well. Staff and service were excellent. Price was appropriate. And the hotel is within walking distance of at least 50 good restaurants, the Hospital, and within driving distance of UVA, Monticello, and wineries. More

We were upgraded to a free suite after traveling all day and being sent to our room only to find it was still untouched by housekeeping. At least they are very customer friendly. It is good for its class of hotel and fairly priced for a popular city. More

while traveling in VA, stopped in Charlottesville, and picked the Hampton from the list on my GPS. Was able to get a room on a Thursday pm without a reservation. The hotel is right next to the UVA Medical Center, and very close to campus (which is beautiful). Close to the downtown area as well. Not much in the way... More

Walking distance to UVA. Nice and comfortable rooms. Courteous and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Easy walk to great restaurants including the Afghan Ariana Grill and Kebab right across the street (Yumm!). Highly Recommend! More
