We had a comfortable mini-vacation. Everything was clean and fresh.
Pros: clean, comfortable, located immediately off the highway, close to downtown, super sweet woman working the breakfast area.
Cons: We forgot our pack and play at home. When we asked for a porta crib we were told that they were locked up and nobody had a key to get them. They said we had to request one in advance. We...

My husband and I have stayed here twice on our way to and from Florida. Very comfortable rooms, hot and cold breakfast, and a great AAA nightly rate. Located right off 81N and 81S. Close to restaurants.
This place has slipped since we last stayed there. Hallways were not vacuumed. Front desk clerk had her child and boyfriend (?) waiting for her in the breakfast area while they mooched on breakfast and waited for her to get off. Very unprofessional. This place always has been one of our favorites but will not be if this keep up....

We just stayed a short night at the hotel, but everything was expected. The rooms were clean and well appointed, the free wireless worked.
The complimentary breakfast was decent and well-stocked, with plenty of tables and two waffle irons (that second one really helps reduce the wait.)
As is usual, the pool is too small for meaningful exercise.
The reception...

Very disappointed in our stay. Location of hotel is just off highway, whci was to be expected. But it is next to a truck stop and in an industrial park basically. We have been traveling alot lately and stayed in all Hampton Inns, in North Carolina, Georgia, and in other locations in Va. I was quite disappointed in this Hampton...

We stayed there en route to Florida. Room was just ok, staff barely acknowledged us. I was very surprised with the lack of customer service. Not what I expect from a Hampton Inn.
Comfortable, spacious, clean, nice bed, free hot breakfast. I found this hotel to be up to par with other Hamptons. I find their beds very comfortable, and the price affordable. We like the unlimited hot tea, fruit, and cookies available at this chain, and the included breakfast is usually pretty decent for a free hotel breakfast. The staff was friendly,...

We stopped here for a night after visiting Monticello and before heading into West Virginia. This is a decent hotel at a good price (almost half of what comparable hotels near Monticello were charging). Its just off the interstate. Staff friendly, rooms a good size and clean. Breakfast a good selection and plenty of it even though we went down...

Close to the highway (but NOT directly off it). I am a light sleeper and I did not hear the traffic at all. Very friendly staff. Clean, well kept rooms and very comfortable bed.
Breakfast is the usual...waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, yougart, fruit, juice and coffee...kept well stocked by the attendant.
Would definitely stay there again if I am in...
