Stayed here 5/6/2012 overnight for a wedding, and indeed, the rooms have been updated. There was something that still felt dated about the rooms. Maybe it was a quality of workmanship as there were several places where paint had splattered. The rooms also felt dark. My family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed here for 1 night. The accommodations were average. Nothing wrong at all, just nothing to scream about either. I think the nightly rate was kind of high for the night of the week that we stayed.

Lovely comfortable room. Extremely clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.
