Our third trip to Porto. Stayed at the Novotel because the price was fantastic for 2 rooms, 2 nights. We did take taxis to/from Gaia and Porto which ost between 5-7 Euros each way. This is a very calm and pleasant hotel. Very good to stay with children. Having a car is a must, you get everywhere very quickly.

Great hotel with all the amenities that we needed & plenty parking spaces. A little tricky to find but we were driving and the satnav helped. Excellent value for money, with great staff. Location is good for access to the city be it Gaia or Porto, or as I need, to get away from the city in the morning travelling south or east. The Novotel standard across Europe is always good, and this is no exception.

Stayed here and worked nearby during mid January. Stay next door at the Ibis for 20% less! Surounded by main roads, can't walk to nearby 'attractions', tricky to get to unless you have a vehicle.
