We really enjoyed our stay at the Almazara and would definitely recommend it for visitors to the Nerja area. After a lot of travelling preceding our stay, it was nice to have a peaceful stop outside of a main centre, but still with the proximity to the Mediterranean and a wonderful town like Nerja. The view from the terrace is... More

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and chose the excellent half board deal of 60 euros a night which we found on the Rumbo website. Check in was efficient and dinner started at 7.30 which is excellent. Our half board meal provided plenty of choice with the aubergines with honey and the pasta of the day... More

We stayed in the hotel in September 2011 and we just loved it. Actually they have given us one of the suites with a huge bed, no need to mention how we enjoyed it:) The room was arranged tasetfully, the bathroom had its own style which was an extra value, the breakfast was excellent with freshly made 'bollos', cafe, 'tostada',... We visited this hotel in May 2009, it was so nice it is still strong im my memory. It is built in the style of a hacienda and all the communial areas are nicely decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful and all facilities very good. The evening meals were outstanding, in fact we would rate the restaurant as one... More

I loved this little hotel, it's a real find. It is just seconds from the motorway but still quiet and has lovely views over to the Med. from the rooms, lounge and dining room/bar. Spotlessly clean, big room, functional balcony, lovely staff, nice breakfast, free Wi-Fi in lounge. A couple of things to note. a) the lane up to the... More

If, like us, you are hiring a car and heading somewhere different every day this is an ideal place to stay. It is within easy reach of Nerja and Frigiliana and just off the motorway for trips further afield. We had looked at hotels in Frigiliana and are pleased we didn't stay there (too quiet) and ones in Nerja which... More

Excellent place - great value, good humoured and laid back service and made very comfortable - rooms pretty "Spartan" but lovely terrace - food also great - highly recommend the "pig cheek"! Best to ignore references to taking own food and drink etc - weird but was not issue as water for room was 2 euros / coffee 1.50 mini... More

We have just come back from a stay at this hotel and whilst the service and welcome were friendly and the rooms & hotel very clean and not without some charm, the issues mentioned in other reviews were confirmed. The pluses are the location, if you have a car it is easy to get to & from Malaga (under one... More

We stayed here one night with my boyfriends parents on our drive between Granada and Arcos. The hotel rooms are ok slightly dated but clean and comfy with a tv, aircon and a fridge. Each of our rooms had a balcony with table a couple of chairs and a nice view our to the sea. Breakfast came with the room... More

Sadly this hotel did not live up to the reviews on your site prior to booking. Car hire is essential unless you are prepared to walk 3km one way and 7km the other on busy main roads and over roundabouts with no paths. The sea views are spoiled by the motorways. The staff apart from the maid and one waiter... More
