Being a hotelier myself , i have always dreamed to stay in a property where you feel that the staff is able to read your mind and meet your more hoped expectations in terms of service. If i had to resume my stay in La Bobadilla in two words i would say Quality and Generosity. Quality because wherever you look,... More

My husband and I and another couple spent 11 days in Andalucia, and 4 in Madrid, the first two weeks of April Researching hotels for our journey, I wanted to plan a few "splurge nights", away from the hustle and bustle of downtown hotels, and I came across an article in Travel & Leisure about La Bobadilla. The photos were... More

This was our second visit to Barcelo La Bobadilla and it was just as magical as the first. The grounds go on forever whether on foot, bike or quad and it's easy to lose yourself (if you want to!) on the myriad of paths through the olive groves. The accomodation (we had a junior suite) is very comfortable and beautifully... More

Reading all the previous reviews we were expecting a luxurious stay with plenty of pampering. What we didn't realise was that this is the first year that La Bobadilla is closing for the winter. I think had this been made clear I would have revised our travel plans and opted for an alternative hotel. Our room was very well appointed... More

My husband and I were traveling with our 13 and 11 year old daughters. We were welcomed into a family suite. The accommodations were outstanding! It is a beautiful place. My husband and I love to run. Running through the olive groves is an experience we will not soon forget. The trails are well-marked. This was the best outdoor run... More

La Bobadilla is stunning, it has the feel of a cross between a Parador and an Andalucian Pueblo Blanco. It even has its own Chapel.(although it was locked during our stay) I don't need to add a full description of the property and the surrounding area because those given by recent reviewers describe it so well. So I'll just give... More

We’ve just returned from 5 nights (six days) at La Bobadilla and would rank it as the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in, meriting every one of its five stars. The setting is idyllic, with two miles from the gates to the actual hotel site, through rolling hills and olive orchards and with long views towards the mountains on all... More

Thought the hotel was excellent, staff very friendly and facilities and Spa excellent. Little choice about where to eat, two restaurants in the evening, one very pricey and exclsuive and the other full of families. Suggest take half board rather than just bed and breakfast and explore the neighbourhood for other opportunities. This is a resort base for families and... More

We travelled as a family of 5, last week July, first week Aug 2011. A stunning hotel set high in the Andalucian hills. Beautiful (long) approach, authentic spanish look & feel. Rooms were generous in size (we had a junior suite & interconnecting double - perfect for a family of 5) & bathrooms were a quality finish. The huge pool... More

This our second stay at La Bobadilla, previous one was during winter time 2 years ago. It has been nice to see the hotel in 2 different seasons as it provides 2 different experiences to enjoy. During winter time you would enjoy the mild climate during the day with lots of activities offered by the hotel like quad or buggie... More
