This is a very odd time warp sort of place. The public rooms and bedrooms are very luxurious. That's the good bit. The food is extortionately priced and the quality is at best average. What the staff lacked in attentiveness was heightened by a surly demeanour. I'll exempt the breakfast waitress from that charge, she was really quite good. Breakfast... More

As others have said, the hotel is out of town. This has its advantages, it is easy to find and the parking is relatively secure. The hotel itself is a nice building (as are most Paradors) with comfortable rooms. WiFi is supposed to be available throughout the building, but although my OH could pick it up with his iPad (he... After arriving in the afternoon with a fully loaded car, we took a taxi into Teruel as the Parador is on a dual carriageway outside the town. We saw the historic sights, had dinner and then our problems started. The taxi rank was outside our restaurant but there were no taxis. We tried phoning the number on the rank, and... More

This was the first time we stayed in a Parador, we did a small tour in early November. I'm writing this with the experience of having stayed in another two within the space of a few days. We enjoyed our stay, the hotel was easy to find and parked right in front. There appeared to be plenty of parking, even... More

We were overnight in this parador as a special treat rather than one our usual hotels. Not special. The parador is located just at the outside edge of town, not one of their old castles refurbished but a modern building. We found the staff unfriendly at best. The room was large as was the bathroom but not really anything unusual.... More

This is clearly a modern Parador which lacks the character of some of the old buildings but you couldn't fault the service. We turned up early and were given drinks vouchers while our room was prepared and we were served with lunch 30 minutes before they said they were open as we were there and they could. Hotel has a... As two couples travelling between Madrid and Valencia, we had decided that we should spend at least one night in a Parador. It would be our first time, and hopefully be a highlight of our trip, we thought. Things started well enough when we entered the impressive reception hall, although the service was formal and restrained, rather than friendly and... More

This hotel is not boring, it is quiet relaxing place set in lovely gardens, it has a swimming pool with disabled access and ther are tennis courts. The bedrooms are gorgeus very comfortable with nice bathrooms, and a fantastic supply of toiletries. The food is equisite, the service also very good. I am surprised it is only a 3 star,... More

Our main complaint was that he room was very hot (not warm) and they would not turn the air conditioning on because "it was going to get cool" which never happened. Tried to leave windows open but there were too many insects, mosquitoes among them coming in. The room was not very big but clean, comfortable and with charm .... More

Stayed one night at this hotel as part of the Cid tour. Modern hotel with spacious, clean rooms & pleasant polite staff. The restaurant was good both for dinner and breakfast. The hotel is a couple of miles outside Teruel however the reception staff directed us to a centrally located carpark. The town is well worth a visit with many... More
