We plumped for Hotel Playa Sol as it had such good reviews here and it did not disappoint! A really lovely hotel in a fantastic location with the most amazing views of Cadaques. A lovely buffet breakfast served until 11am so good if you like a lie in. It is well worth paying the extra for a sea view.

THis hotel is beautiful, right in the village of Cadaques, the rooms are small but have everything you'd need. The service was great, breakfast delicious, very clean. THe view from the seaside rooms was lovely.

Small room, but beautifully decorated, quiet and immaculately clean. Bed was super comfortable. Our quoted price included breakfast which was buffet style with an ample selection, served in a nicely decorated dining room with a fabulous view of the little harbor of Cadaques. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and seemed to be fluent in every language.

It's a little pricey but you'll get your Euro's worth. Sweet location, immaculate rooms, luxe amenities, and top-notch service. Pay a little extra for an ocean view room - you won't be sorry.

We stayed here in may 2010 in a refurbished sea view room. We did not book merely turned up in cadaques and loved the look of the hotel. The room was clean, tastefully decorated and what a view! Don't be put off by the grim Benidorm-style name so evocative of 1960's package tourism... The hotel as others have mentioned is totally reformed, with just the old facade remaining and nice, whitewashed beachy-style rooms with great bathrooms.
