Hotel was basic, bathroom/shower facilities need updating, for a wealthy country like Switzerland, was surprised that rooms were so basic. Room was warm and plenty hot water. Another very satisfied Newmarket customer. A lovely warm hotel (it was -18 outside). The bedroom (suite) was spaceous & modern. The only down side was that there was no vegetarian option on the dinner menu, so we ate in the village each night. One point of interest to movie fans....David Niven is buried in the village cemetary.

After reading some of the reviews prior to our visit we were apprehensive about what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. On arrival we had a very friendly welcome and a clean and pleasant room. The food was very good value and plentiful. We could not fault anything. The walk to the village in the snow was so beautiful.

Stayed here recently as part of a Newmarket trip. The setting is stunning, snowy mountains, a nice little church nearby. The village and its surroundings are fabulous. The hotel is simple but offers very good value for money - taking into account the impossibly over valued swiss franc. The room is basic but spacious and from the second floor rooms you have a lovely view. The shower is rather small but functional. Service is efficient and friendly.

Hotel Roc et neige came recommended as a good value base to ski Gstaad/saanen moser mountain.
