Can't recommend a visit to the restaurant highly enough. We've been lots of times now, & haven't had a bad meal. The food is always beautiful (the steaks are fab!) and the service is spot on, a few restaurants we've tried recently could learn a thing or two from the staff here!
Will definitely be going back soon!!

after ordering lunch at 12.30 we had to wait 45 minutes before it arrived. the bread cobs was stale,not fit to eat,on conplaning they was replaced.the main meal was changed because it was not available until 1.15.

Recently enjoyed an over night stay at The Royal Toby on their Sleep & Dine offer. The hotel was lovely and our room was nicely decorated and comfy. The restaurant and bar was very inviting and the food was exceptional and fabulous value for money. Would strongly recommend to anyone who fancys a break and delicious food.

Lovely friendly hotel that is excellent value. Clean rooms and within 20 minutes walk of Rochdale centre. The bar is warm and welcoming with a log fire. The restaurant is very attractive, service excellent and the food delicious.

Have recently enjoyed a three night sleep and dine stay at this hotel, situated in Castleton, and within easy reach of Manchester via the 15 min train journey (station is about a ten minute walk from the hotel ) or by bus which stops just outside the hotel.

We dined in the retaurant at the hotel and had the special menu. It was very good food with quick service at a very reasonable price. Even though it was busy, we were well looked after. Pleasant decor and a comfortable bar alongside made for a very enjoyable evening.
