A nice, clean hotel with very nice rooms ( great view ). The aircondition was turned off during the night and the water disapered, bit it is Haiti. Anyway tje restaurant and bar employes was very slow and could be way more service minded.

Stayed in Cap Lamandou several times on business travel. There is no wifi access in the rooms which is a down when on a business trip. But the hotel is clean, comfortable and well located. A very good place to stay in Jacmel.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Cap Lamandou and very much enjoyed it! North Americans need to change their perception of what "luxury" is when in Haiti. By Haitian standards, this hotel is amazing! It is clean, beautiful, comfortable, and has an amazing view! The food is ok, and the service is slow but everyone is friendly. The only downside...

We went here for dinner and decided to move hotels. The view ,the service and the overall cleanliness was a breath of fresh air. Our rooms were spacious and had the most amazing view of the bay. We enjoyed the pool and walked down to the beach and were comfortable swimming in the Carribbean.
Spacious clean rooms, balconies with amazing views of Jacmel Bay, nice patio area restaurant, pool, beach cove steps down from the hotel, friendly service, safe for valuables, cable TV, mini-fridge -- all these things make it an excellent place to stay.
Drawbacks: Be prepared for very slow service in the restaurant. The breakfast included with the room is mediocre but...

We stayed at this hotel for the first time this week while we were in town to visit friends. The room was clean and comfortable. It it was a bit plain the view from the private balcony more than made up for it. We were in town during Caye Jacmel's patronal feast day so there were some great parties and...

Beautiful setting. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good service and very good cuisine. The pool cleanliness was not up to U.S. standards. However, it was raining during our entire stay.
We actually visited this hotel in April 2010. Our group has stayed in hotels in Haiti and this by far was the best one yet. Rooms were clean, food was good and the view was outstanding. Not too far from the hub of Jacmel. I was expecting alot less and was pleasantly surprised. Price was expensive, but that's Haiti everywhere
poor service...got meals late...they had a i dont care attitude...it took for ever to get our meals...we ordered at 7:00 and we would get out meals at 10:30. the pool was empty...the rooms were not that clean..it took over 30 minutes just to get a bottle of water...a couple of times we got up and got the water ourselves.this is...

The best view, best food, best atmosphere in Haiti. The ocean view is marvelous and the employees at this Hotel made you feel very special. Was in Jacmel on a missions trip and felt mostly guilty about the digs we were staying in compared to the people we were there to help. Met the owner of this assume hotel and...
