We've come here numerous times in the past 6 years. Even though the accomodations are very basic, the staff is great. Over the years, they've been extremely responsive in requests for more fruit and healthy options. Their Saturday lunch menu is great. Scenic, restful -- this retreat location is loved by many!

Don't waste your time or money going here. You're gonna hate it. Unless you're a religious nerd, you won't have any fun here. I have been going to Shrine Mont since I was a child, and there is no place like it. The town of Orkney Springs is very quaint and the old hotel is beautiful. It is a great place for a get-away and offers great hiking and good country food!

My entire family will arrive today, Jul 24, at Shrine Mont Conference Center for a one week family get together. It will be our 31st consecutive year to do this! Need I say more?
