This place is wonderful. The beds are comfy (as I am laying in one). The rooms are perfectly sized for 2 people and bags. The location is fabulous and the whole estate is magnificent. To begin, the rooms are perfect for a couple or an individual. This is not a holiday inn with some big TV to plop in front... More

We stayed at Hotel Strasburg on our way to Shenandoah National Park. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived and the hotel was clean and very reasonably priced. Our room was very nice and the continental breakfast was adequate. My wife and I took a run through the town in the morning and thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with... More

Just returned from 3 nights at the lovely Hotel Strasburg in tiny Strasburg, VA. The inn is a former WWI hospital and orphanage, located downtown, within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and surrounded by the historical residential neighborhood. The rooms are quaint and well decorated. There is a pub and a restaurant that is a destination for locals (upscale... More

I rarely write the hotel reviews here, but due to our very bad treatment here, I think it is very necessary to share my very bad experience with other travelers and warn them: it might be a terrible nightmare for you if you try this hotel. We bought it from Groupon for $59 one night, which seems a good deal.... More

This is a lovely little place! Antique furniture, clean room and bathroom, cute little touches and decorations, and great food in the restaurant. This was our first stop before driving on the Skyline Drive, and it was absolutely perfect. Nice antique emporium in town gave us something to walk to. The very friendly staff at the Hotel Strasburg were welcoming... More

My fiancee and I stopped here for one night after our hike in the Shenandoah. We can't say enough about the friendly staff or the cleanliness and surprisingly large size of our room. The only thing we did not like was the fact that our "king bed" reservation was actually a queen size and it creaked and groaned very loudly... More

this is an historic building-- over 100 years old. i believe it was a hospital during the civil war. the owners have added several adjacent houses to increase the room count. we had been to the restaurant in the hotel several times over the past few years. the restaurant is fine and is a great local attraction. in March/April we... This was way more than just a place to stay! It was an experience in itself and worthy of being its own destination! We stayed on the third floor. (no elevators!) and didn't hear a peep from any other rooms or the hallway. The restaurant was great. We ate the hot breakfast both mornings and dinner one night. Great staff... More

We stayed in this charming hotel in Strasburg while making our first visit to Shenandoah National Park, which is very easy to get to from Strasburg. At $68 per night, our room was small but clean and well maintained. Except for the fact that the free wifi wasn't working during our brief stay, the Hotel Strasburg was all that reviews... More

This hotel was wonderful. The place was very clean, rooms were well-appointed and warm, with the gables, slanted ceilings (top floor) and grand staircases of the genuine historic hotel it is. Having an excellent restaurant in the hotel was another advantage.... we rolled right in and had dinner before settling into our room. A complimentary, freshly prepared continental breakfast in...
