My friend and I decided to see Tangier Island after hearing about their British accents, and the first B&B we heard about was Shirley's Bay View Inn. The Bay View Inn is on the southern side of the island with beautiful views of the bay. It is a five minute walk from the restaurants and shops, and maybe 10 minutes or so to the beach. Chuck (Cubby) Pruitt Doran and I, Manuela stayed at the main house with owners Uncle Wallace and Aunt Shirley. We enjoyed visiting with them for two days and enjoyed visiting the island.
