The balcony views are hard to beat for the price. Not a fancy hotel but certainly nice enough. The restaurant in the hotel has great full course breakfasts and other meals as well. It's right on the Boardwalk in a good location, close to bike rentals, shopping and other restaurants. The beach is well maintained here too.

Just got back from staying at The OceanFront Inn.
The Good:
All around CLEAN bathroom and comfortable beds
Updated rooms with a flat screen tv
Updated bedding decor
New updated Room Key where you wave the key card over the sensor door panel instead of usually having to swipe it with your hands being full of luggage.

THe oceanfront is always a very chilled vacation spot. The staff is low-key but helpful. The rooms were clean & the view is beautiful. Its my new VABeach vacation spot...at least until they jack the prices up in May.

There are fancier hotels nearby, but this was a great value. Room was fairly large, very nice heated indoor pool, great views from the balconies and it's convenient to everything. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back. We had a good time even with lousy weather the days we were there.

A friend got a "great rate" for another oceanfront hotel in Virginia Beach, but it was no deal - just a nightmare (and only a few dollars cheaper per night than my all-time favorite Oceanfront Inn).
Oceanfront Inn's rooms, on-site restaurant and staff are a real bargain - I've been staying in Virginia Beach for decades, and I'll keep returning...
