We have stayed at numerous locations at VA Beach and the Barclay Towers is the best place yet. The location is good, its clean, price is better than most and we love the suites so that privacy is possible when you have children traveling with you.

The Barclay Towers are conveniently located, with balconies facing the ocean. That was nice. Kitchenette was fine too. But overall the building and rooms are old and tired. For example, can't remember the last time that hotel did not have flat screen TV (Barclay had old, old TV). General appearance was tending toward shabby.

Our family visited the Virginia Beach oceanfront to attend the wedding and reception of a cousin. We enjoyed staying at the Barclay Towers and look forward to visiting again soon. The wedding reception was also held at the Barclay Towers. The room was set up beautifully and the staff was very helpful.

We stayed at this hotel for a relaxing get away. The suties are large, clean and the view from the balcony is wonderful. The indoor hot tub is clean and the indoor pool is warm and relaxing. Unfortunately the bedroom area of the suite is located on the hallway. Anyone coming or going down the hall can be heard clearly.... More

My family and I stayed here over spring break and had a great experience. The room was clean, the staff was friendly & helpful, and the location was convenient. My kids really enjoyed the pool. I would definately recommend this hotel and plan on going back in the summer.

I am an owner and sometimes stay at Barclay during times other than my fixed week. I stayed Sun-Sat prior to Easter. It was terrific.
