My friend wanted to share her Colonial Williamsburg college experience with us in this beautiful quaint town, and we had the most wonderful time. The Providence Hall Guesthouses served as the perfect slice of comfort for our weary feet after a full day of walking and exploring. Since there were 4 girls sharing one of their 2 double-bed rooms, one... More

My favorite place in the states just got a little better. If you want the ambience of staying in Colonial Williamsburg but can't afford the historic houses or the Williamsburg Inn, this is a great option. Just steps from the Inn, Providence Hall guesthouses provides a comfortable, nice hotel room with a lobby concierge that serves Kuerig Coffee all day... More

We've stayed many times at Williamsburg before, but we always stayed in the Lodge. My family stayed here during Thanksgiving 2011, and was somewhat dissatisfied with our room. It was a wheelchair accessible room, so we kind of felt like we were in a hospital. The room was also outdated, as in the furniture looked tired. Also, the exterior is... More

My family and I just spend several days at Providence Hall at Colonial Williamsburg and we really enjoyed the rooms and location. The rooms are very large with sleep sofas, garden patio’s looking over lovely gardens. We were on a breakfast plan had wonderful breakfasts at The Williamsburg Inn, but they also had morning coffee, newspapers, and Concierge service in... More

The day my fiance proposed, on October 21st, 2011, he planned the entire weekend in advanced, with the utmost romantic details. This included spending the entire weekend as guests of the Providence Hall Guesthouses of the Williamsburg Inn. Well, our romance-filled bubble that had lasted all day long since the proposal at 10am, was quickly bursted by our experience at... More

We have visited Colonial Williamsburg many times and always stay at one of the CW properties. We usually like to stay in the Colonial Houses for the charm, ambience, and convenience to the attractions in the Colonial City, but since we were making relatively last-minute (1 month in advance) reservations for the Grand Illumination weekend, we were not able to... We chose to stay in Providence Hall for the convenience of being in a Colonial Williamsburg hotel for the New Year's holiday, and we figured the hall would provide a little more privacy for a couple celebrating New Years without the kids. The hotel room was lovely and spacious - though it did lack some details I would normally expect... More

Having visited Williamsburg and stayed in Providence Hall many times, our expectations were based on past experiences. We were very disappointed in the lack of details that we had seen in prior visits. Just the little things like no shower caps, no robes, no turn-down service. One would expect when spending over $300 a night for a room that these... More

Providence Hall is located adjacent to the Williamsburg Inn and is considered part of the Inn. This is where one checks in. We booked our priority tickets with the Inn's concierge - and had a morning carriage ride, a decorations tour, and enjoyed a concert at Kimball Theater. Our room was very spacious. It was clean, had an empty refrigerator,... More

We had a great 2-night stay at the Providence Hall Guesthouses in the spring. It is very convenient to stay right within Colonial Williamsburg, and it's really nice to be able to avail oneself of the concierge etc. services of the Williamsburg Inn (Providence Hall guests are assigned to the Inn for guest services). The building is not much to... More
