If you’re looking for some great steaks 🥩, prime rib, pastas or Sicilian style dishes, Mama Vallone’s is the place to go, they have different sizes ribeye and prime rib cuts and my favorite medium rare seared prime rib, I’d definitely try the Sicilian shrimp and cod sauté which is one of my favorites, their spaghetti with Italian sausages or homemade meatballs are another great selection as well, I also love their Cesar salad with shrimp but you could it with other protein of your choice, they do have craft beers as well with domestic beers, wines and spirits. Also they do have two rooms available at decent prices in case one needs an overnight rest from a long travel or maybe not in any condition to drive after having a few too much drinks during dinner at the restaurant, just be aware that the rooms doesn’t have air conditioning.

We ended up travelling late and decided to stop at a little out of the way place in WA, called Cle Elum. The Best WesternPlus was not up to any standard of service or appearance so we headed down to the Timber Lodge. Across the street was a lovely Steak House and Inn. It was excellent ; the entree included salad. I had 1/2 order of lasagna and my husband had the veal special. It was priced very reasonably and was made fresh and homemade

The pasta e fagiole was delicious. Sicilian cod and shrimp excellent. Priced a bit high in my opinion..but we would eat here again. Waitresses very friendly and pleasant even though we came in 20 minutes before closing time.

I had the lasagna which was delicious. It had fresh spinach which was not over cooked :) My husband had linguine which he liked and mozzarella sticks which he loved (can you get bad mozzarella sticks?)We both enjoyed our food. It was not a spectacular meal, but decent. Prices were fair.

Having heard good things about tghis place, we tried it. Poor service even though it wasn't busy. Food ranged from bland & ordinary to poorly seasoned and prepared. Nice decor though,.,,but you can't eat or be served by a pretty place. Overpriced for the poor quality of the night. Maybe ours was an off-night for the kitchen and servers but we won't go again.

My girlfriend summed up her thoughts with “Most likely to be screamed at by a British chef in a reality TV show”. I didn’t think it was that bad, but not some place I would go back to, given other options. Not that there was anything truly wrong with the food or the service, but there wasn’t anything exceptional or especially flavorful or inspiring either. Most of the vegetables tasted as if they were canned, and there didn’t appear to be any fresh herbs in either of our dishes. Menu selections seemed odd, too – when my dining partner ordered a steak salad for dinner, it came with a starter salad as well. While not mushy, my pasta was well past al dente. The puttanesca sauce was very mild, not the spicy, bold flavors I expect from a puttanesca. The sausage, however, was both tasty and well cooked. All in all, I’m not headed back.

Not bad- traveled with two kids, and the foods was good. Chicken was a little stringy, but not horrible. The house wine, skip. Service was good, though getting there 90 minutes before closing, I felt rushed.
