Beautifully located and fun to stop in to, but this is no El Tovar or Ahwahnee even though it is a Delaware North property as I think the other National Park hotels are. The cabin was adequate but we got wet kindling and never got the fire going. No Internet and no TV so no fire is critical! We had... More

After reading multiple reviews on Kalaloch Lodge, my husband and I decided to stay in the main lodge. I cannot stress this strongly enough: DEFINITELY request a 2nd floor room with an ocean view. The views from our bedroom were stunning. I've never birded, or viewed wildlife from my hotel bed, so this was a novel experience! We saw bald... More

This was the worse National Park room I have ever stayed in!!!!!! And we have stayed in some rustic. This was just nasty!! Still want my money back and the time. For the price you pay, over $200.00 i felted cheated. We had a room down the road from the lodge, building was like a two story motel. No microwave... More

This was an amazing place to stay! Easy check-in and we went to our cabin #24 which was conveniently located with easy access to the beach and had ocean view. Room was rustic but clean and comfortable - my only complaint was that the refrigerator ran all night:-( Had to put in earplugs instead on hearing the waves. Besides that... More

Obviously the ocean views, beaches and nearby rainforests are the reason people visit the area, yet we found the Lodge to be very comfortable, clean, and well furnished. It seems that since the new management company took over last year service has very much improved (young, eager and smiling employees). The restaurant is quite pricey (well, it is the only... More

Kalaloch Lodge, located right next to the ocean on the western edge of Olympic National Park, offers a variety of accommodations. We were fortunate to be in a cabin with a clear view out to sea. Despite rain and gale force winds during the first day and night, the cabin was warm and secure. The Franklin stove was great, and... More

My wife & I stayed at Kalaloch Lodge for the 5th time. There aren't many places to stay right on the Pacific ocean on the northern part of the Washington coast. The natural beauty is overwhelming. Be sure and see Ruby Beach. The lodge itself is an older property, but well kept. The cabins are primitive, but comfortable. We stayed... More

We has a delightful time for two nights in a cabin facing the ocean. The cabins are basic, however, the location amazing. Breakfasts were excellent, lunches/dinners fine, not outstanding. Wine list...adequate. The staff was super. Wifi is non existent, so if you have to have that and be in touch, you will be disappointed. Possible to get a weak cell... More

In the mid-1960's my family, along with other families, would travel to Kalaloch and spend a couple of nights. I was a young child, and remember fondly the small cabins, rickety steps down to the shore and all the driftwood for making forts. Of course, things change in almost 50 years, but I found our cabin (one row up from... More

Four of us shared a 1 bedroom cabin in the row behind the bluff cabins. Perfect for us-all amenities were provided-bedding, towels and soaps, all kitchen utensils-except a cutting board, and a wood stove. We took long walks both south and north on the beach-over an hour in each direction, and took a hike up into the Hoh rainforest. Don't... More
