I really don't know what people are complaining about -- $10 a night! A hostel in Mexico is $12, the beach campground just down 101 is $18, the Elwa Valley campground $12, state campgrounds $22 -- get real. This is way better than a leaking tent in the rain.

We stayed in this hostel knowing nothing--just stopping because we saw a sign on the highway. We were at that point where it was dark, raining, and we still hadn't found an open place where we could camp or even just pull over and sleep in the car. We did appreciate that there was room for us, and that we... More

The hostel is not a 5 star resort and I am not sure what exactly the people who left the nasty reviews were expecting but, all I can say is they must be spoiled brats. I must say that if you are a hiker or a traveler and you are more of the type that appreciates people and a local... More

Great Location! It's right between Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rainforest. With the recent buzz of twilight and the abundance of tourists visiting Olympic National Park, Forks tends to be pricey when is comes to hotels- on average $100 bucks a night. As a young student traveling on a Budget this place was perfect, only $10 a night. That deal... More

I have stayed twice at this hostel (last summer and this spring) and am glad that it exists because low-budget accomodations on the Olympic Pensinsula are few. The hostel is the owner's house and dorm beds are located in several rooms in the house as well as the garage. I stayed in the garage dorm in the summer and it... More

I stayed there for two nights which was two nights too many. The manager interogates you about all your travel plans. It isn't enough that he takes your drivers liscence info. I felt uncomfortable enough with this that I gave very vague answers. His house is not part of the HI system. It is extremely cluttered, moldy smelling and unpleasant... More
