Our 2-night stay was very enjoyable. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night, determined to avoid the weekend crowds of the annual Tulip Festival. We succeeded -- only one other couple on Sunday night, and on Monday night it was just us. The hosts must have been tired after a long weekend with a packed house, but Shelly's energy... More

We travel a lot in Europe and like to stay in Pensions. This beautiful home and the accommodations were reminiscent. We were recommended the “Queen” by some fellow travelers. They were right. We fell in love with this 100 year old farmhouse that has been remodeled and restored. It was extremely comfortable and we actually wanted to stay two more... More

Shelly and her family treated us like family for the two nights we stayed in their comfy, beautiful home. Delicious breakfasts, great music, - Shelly even serenaded us on the piano. Her restored 100 year old home is centrally located to explore the valley and the town of La Conner. Need suggestions for where to go and what to eat?... More

The Queen of the Valley is a lovely place to getaway for a few days (more if you can). There is an understated royal theme at the Queen, an expertly remodeled farmhouse from the early 1900's. The colors are elegant and muted, our King Sized bed was heavenly, and breakfasts were a highlight of the day. We found the Inn... More

Located in a desolate and smelly position in the countryside. Too expensive for an unconfortable bed, inefficient heating, bathroom fixtures antiquated and noisy. Breakfast ordinary, served at fixed hours and 20 minutes later than announced.

The inn is a great place to stay whether you simply want to relax in the company of a good book or take advantage of the numerous scenic and tourist activities in the area. Chris and Shelly are super hosts, very friendly and good company as well. The inn serves breakfast consisting of Shelly's very yummy creations. She will accomodate... More

We stayed here to bookend our honeymoon in the San Juan Islands as we were coming to and from Seattle. We had a great time looking through the volumes of old Life Magazines and aviation magazines from WWII. The themed rooms were decorated quite nicely while still functional. The owners were great to talk to and made the stay quite... More

My sisters and I spent two nights here to celebrate a birthday. We stayed on the top floor in the two bedroom South Seas Suite. The beds were very comfortable and the views of the fields were wonderful and the small refrigerator came in handy. When we arrived Chris, the owner, was cordial and helped us carry our bags up... Shelly and chris Were very kind and helpfull. Breakfast was top notch and at any restaurant would of run us well over 30 dollars being family of three. They were very kind to our over active toddler who wanted to touch everything. The room was very nice and the robes were very cozy. Many DVDs , games, and books to... More
