Imagine yourself in a room where you hear others all the time and it is over 100 f and there is only a small fan to move air......unbearable ! To bad it is in such a lovely part of the world and at the prices they charge they can't spring for air conditioning !!!!!!!!!

We stayed in one of the separate chalet / cabins they rent. It is separate from the lodge. The one we stayed at was approximately 3/4 a mile away from the lodge where you check-in. The lodge has a spa, fitness center, but you may only use if you are staying at the lodge itself. That was a disappointment. The... More

We are sorry that you were not able to take advantage of our wonderful Fitness Center at the Mazama Country Inn. We do let guests who are renting cabins use the Pool and Fitness Center but we charge a small fee, to help us cover maintenance. Our guests at the Inn can use all of our sport facilities free of... My hiking buddy Nanci and I have been going here for last gasp hiking each Fall for years--obviously happy with the place! Staff--Mary, who I think is in charge of everything, Dita in the restaurant for breakfast, and Jennifer who served us dinner, all have been there for a long time, and always so good to see them--and they remember... We recently stayed here as a base to cover the North Cascades National Park. It was extremely clean and the staff were friendly and informative. We reached in the evening and were considering dining in their restaurant but due to the lack of dining options available for vegetarians we went to Winthrop. We did however have breakfast at their restaurant... More

Super location in Mazama, right next to Mazama store (home of great food and supplies), nice staff, good value. Stayed there in Sept. 2012 on the way to backpacking trip in North Cascades. It's a homey, cozy, comfy place to lay your head. Unfortunately, the day I stayed the restaurant was not open and I had to leave too early... More

Returned again to the Mazama Country end the day before and the day we returned from backpacking in the Pasayten Wilderness. The Inn is at the gateway to the wilderness -- 1000 square miles of splendid solitude. The three of us shared a room with a rollaway. Quite, comfortable and cozy. Manager Mary is always a delight. Professional, efficient and... More

My wife, kids and I were looking for a place in the area to stay. I was originally disappointed that (decent) lodging in Winthrop either wasn't available or was too expensive. I turned to lodging in nearby Mazama hoping to find something acceptable. What I found in the cabin we rented from Mazama Country Inn was much more than acceptable.... More

This was indeed an oasis and had we made it a "destination" we might have enjoyed the rusticness of the accomodations. It was however, a stop along the way and as such I believe it to be the priciest per square footage of anything we'd stayed in for the past 7 days! Coupled with the fact that there were NO... More

Wonderful getaway Inn-beautiful location, relaxing time and great customer service. The Inn manager, Mary, is a delight. She was especially helpful in answering my questions about local day hikes. The Inn cat, Davidson, greeted us. We look forward to staying at the Inn again.

Stayed here one night with my sister. Want to come back with husband and stay for a lot longer...very comfortable and reasonable...staff was fabulous, and great hikes all over. Spectacular!!! Good little market nearby for hiking provisions. Definitely want to come back here. Not pretentious, but very comfortable and reasonable.
