I stayed here on business while traveling across Washington State and really appreciated the easy location, about a mile to the freeway and walking distance to downtown restaurants and attractions, yet in a quiet residential neighborhood. Nathan and Casey served breakfast earlier than usual to accommodate my schedule. The scones were amazing! I slept well on the king sized bed.... More

Had a lovely two days here and would recommend it highly. Excellent breakfasts. The hosts were helpful and friendly, accommodating my partners dietary restrictions. They gave us tips on local restaurants and sights. I would also would recommend the massage in their attic day spa.

We stopped off in Olympia before heading back up to SEATAC for our flight home. This B&B is an excellent choice, combining true character with genuine hospitality. Good comfortable room with view of the Capitol dome. The house is in a peaceful residential street, and its an easy walk (about 25 mins) to downtown and the waterfront. Breakfast was lovely... More

Thank you so much for the lovely review. We hope to see you in the future! We think we are well positioned for a lengthy stay and exploring the area. You are right the drive to Sea-Tac and/or PDX aren't bad at all (as long as you aren't trying during rush hour). We are glad you found us! More

Three of us had a workshop in Tumwater and were lucky enough to find 3 rooms open at this lovely Inn! The Inn is 3 minutes off the freeway in a very quiet neighborhood. Nathan, the owner, ran out the front door to help me with my bags as soon as I pulled in to the parking area. The rooms were... More

It was a charming old Victorian House on a hill. I had to drive by this place a couple of times to find it at night. The room that I wanted was not available that night but we did get a nice room with a view of the capitol and a nice breakfast in the morning and charming hosts that... More

My girlfriend stumbled upon this lovely Inn on the internet in Oct 2012. First Nathan was a great host with some of the best recommendations we received on our whole trip. The ferry from Bainbridge to Seattle...Awesome, thanks. The breakfast was out of this world and worth 30-40 bucks at a nice place. The inn is close to the Capital-... More

We recently stayed at the Swantown Inn when we came to visit our son at Evergreen College. Even before we walked in the door I had exchanged emails with Nathan asking for some restaurant recommendations. He responded almost immediately. From the time we walked through the door, Nathan and Casey made us feel instantly at home. The house is just... More

The house is fabulous, the bedding sumptuous, and the host amazingly helpful. He listened to our requests and directed us to a restaurant exactly suited to our needs. Breakfast was great (maple pecan scones to die for!). I'd recommend this to anyone wanting an experience a cut above.

Everything about this place was high quality and unique- the bed, the bedding, the antique furniture, claw foot bathtub, and the special breakfast made with love. The owners are kind, helpful, laid back. The massage I got at the attic spa upstairs was quality. I have zero complaints and I'm glad I serendipitously ended up at this place.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, this little slice of heaven offers great service, a wonderful spa service and healthy breakfast. The hosts were very nice and extremely helpful with recommending things to do in the city. The house is well kept up and is very beautiful.
