Seaview cottages is a cute quaint place to stay. It is away from the noise of the peninsula, however all activities are a short walk or drive away. Fred and Ming are very gracious and accommodating hosts. Seaview cottages are very clean and comfortable. There is coffee in the room. The is also a BBQ on the premises for the... More

My daughter and I stayed here one night as a stop-over on our way home from the Oregon Coast. We stayed in unit 11, the "Crow's Nest". The room was large and had a queen and a twin bed, a kitchenette and a small patio. This unit does not allow children under 12 as it is upstairs from 2 other... More

Seaview is a quiet, out of the way town on the Washington coast just north of the Columbia river. The town is a bit scruffy around the edges, but the beach, a quick walk from the highway, is worth a day or even a weekend exploring. It extends south all the way to Cape Disappointment, and miles to the north... More

Don't expect the Hilton and you will find a fantastic addition to your vacation here. Why stay somewhere that is cookie-cutter when you can have friendly hosts who chat with you while you kick back on the front porch of your cottage, pass along the best finds for food &activiyties in the area, and generally make you feel right at... If you are looking for a five star resort with all the bells and whistles then this place is not for you. However, if you are looking for a reasonably priced, family owned and operated getaway that is clean and quiet with friendly management then it is an excellent choice. Fred and Ming Speer own and operate the facility and... More

This is not a five star hotel my any means. However it is quiet, cute, clean, affordable. The staff is friendly and the location is pretty good. You are a short drive out of town but not close enough to really walk. (unless you like walking ) The beach is a short walk through the neighborhood but you have to... More

I was very lucky to find this property last November, 2011. Fred and Ming, the owners, are just wonderful people. Since I was traveling with my boyfriend and daughter, they suggested the larger, "park model" unit. It was newer than most of the other cottages inside and had a fully stocked kitchen. It was clean and comfortable and included a... More

The owners Fred and Ming were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage we just stayed in was very clean and had all the basics we look for in accommodation. Very reasonablly priced. Just a few blocks from the beach of beaches!

I had my doubts after reading other reviews. Another hotelier in the area recommended we try Seaview Motel & Cottages under the new owners. They had only just got the motel up and running. On the good side, it's friendly, inexpensive, clean and near the beach. If you like properties reminiscent of the '50's and '60's it's quite fun. On... More

We arrived on Sat afternoon and found that the hotel has been closed for some time. No signs or anything posted. Be aware that the internet allowed us to book the room and even pick which cottage we wanted to stay in. So, don't book online with this motel until there is a new owner and has been updated.
