My girlfriend and I stayed here recently to celebrate an anniversary. Wow, what a pleasant surprise!!! The breakfast's were very tasty (a special shout out to the scrambled eggs). The room was very comfortable and charming!!! The owners were extremely nice and interesting people who understand good customer service. I heartily recommend staying here.

Spent one night to celebrate a birthday. The optional dinner was excellent. Breakfast was good, room spacious private and comfortable. More like a small hotel than a room in someones house. Saw deer, beavers, otters, hawks, eagles and more on the nearby Nature preserve walk. We would come back

I had a lovely stay at Twin Gables this past summer. I'd come down to visit friends in the area to go sea kayaking. The breakfast is especially memorable: very generous portions and fresh items. The owners even accommodated my wheat allergy with delicious gluten-free corn bread! All-in-all a peaceful and restorative stay. I'll be back!

The best part of Twin gable is the very large dinning room/parlor, when the owners are in it. It is obvious, Steve and Kathleen enjoy people. It seems that enjoyment is what makes them run the bed and breakfast. If I have one criticism it is the that the breakfast are too large.

My wife and I just stayed at Twin Gables for the second time and love the character and location of this spot along the Columbia.
