We had to travel to Tacoma for a conference last week and were booked at La Quinta for 3 nights. We choose to come up early to visit the natural wonders of WA and were pleasantly surprized at the great accomodations and the friendly staff at La Quinta. The day manager Josh was very easy to work with and he... More

We stayed at LQ Saturday, May 5, to attend a concert at the Tacoma Dome. Checked in a little early, no problem. Lobby was wide-open and nice. Room largish and clean. Staff very helpful. We stayed there because traffic is such a problem around the Dome when there is a function (we only live about 45 minutes away) Took a... More

the rooms and lobby were nice and seemed clean. nothing spectacular, and i thought it a bit overpriced. also, the parking was cramped and hard to find a place. breakfast was awkwardly placed in the restaurant around a couple of corridors from the lobby, and was very high on carbs without even hard boiled eggs for someone who needs a... Hotel had large rooms, slightly outdated, but not bad. Decent room service food and menu. I'd order again. Air conditioning worked fine and bed was adequate. I hate that the free breakfast is in the middle of the restaurant though. Servers are trying to bring me coffee, but there is also self serve coffee...very confusing. I didnt bring any money... More

I first experienced the LaQ Tacoma about ten years ago, when there was a conference I attended here. I did not stay at the hotel: I only attended the conference during the day. On another occasion, I had planned a stay at another hotel over a holiday weekend. That hotel had some major problem (I don't recall what), but I... More

Last December after we booked Amtrak's Starlight Express round trip from Tacoma, WA to Santa Barbara, CA we discovered a serious dearth of long-term parking near the train station. A phone call to nearby hotels proved fruitless until we connected with La Quinta staff. We were told that since we wanted to overnight before our departure and again following our... More

Work often puts me up at La Quinta in Tacoma. This is a tired older hotel. Beds are lumpy, pillows are hard, towels are far from soft and fluffy. Front desk staff are nice though, and the room has lots of plugs for the business traveler, along with a fridge and microwave. Only shampoo and soap provided, bring your own... More
