We are always happy to find any room available when we travel on our motorcycle, but we lucked out this time with the Rio Vista ! Very clean and friendly hotel on the main drag in Winthrop. Walking distance to everything. We would definately stay here again.

Never even met the proprietors (got in late at night and left early in the morning for the Rendezvous Huts), but manager was friendly and left our room warm and clean for our arrival. Hotel is steps from the downtown area, including ski rentals and bakery. Nothing fancy, but no complaints either.

Not the cheapest place in town but definitely a good value in terms of accommodations and location. Room was bright and airy on the river. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The location on the edge of the small town was very convenient. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Rio Vista when hiking the Cascades on the east side of the mountains and were very impressed. Very nice room with balcony view of river and right in town. The staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Really enjoyed being on the river. The hotel is in town and close to everything, but you feel more nature than city in your room with the river running so close.
