Stayed here 2 nights with family (three rooms), close to town and friendly staff. They loaned us towels and hose to wash our motorcycle. Stayed here in Dec 2010 with a friend. It is fine and clean, however the cheap carpet ruined it all. It looked clean. Our breakfast was a high sugared muffin that was freshly microwaved. Nothing fancy but very clean and worth the price. Plenty of towels and the pillows were great. Woke up to the Hot Air Balloon taking off. It was beautiful to see the balloon with the sun shinning behind it.

Great location and excellent service! Really enjoyed the scenery! I would recommend it to other families with young children.

My two girlfriends and I stayed at the Winthrop Inn for one night in July 2010. Check-in was easy and our room was adequate.The room was clean, but not fancy. The hot tub and pool are only open until 10. It is a nice place to stay if you are there to just sleep and sight see.
