We have been a few times now, and it's our place to stay in Winthrop. The innkeepers are helpful, friendly, and happy to give you recommendations on everything from dinner to sledding hills. The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is HEAVENLY. Best food outside of my own kitchen!

We left with complete satisfaction. Dan the innkeeper was friendly, helpful and part of the community. He kept us informed of pass conditions, weather and trail conditions. Cabins were clean, cozy, comfortable and compatible with the environment. The breakfasts were delicious and supported local businesses and farms. We will return.

We love this place. And what's not to love. Entrance to the community cross-country ski trails is half a block away, there's a hot tub and hot chocolate for apres ski relaxation, there are usually deer outside your window in the morning, the breakfast is excellent, the cabins are quiet and cozy, and the rooms nicely appointed but don't go... Nice rooms. Good bed. Quite night's rest. GREAT breakfast. The egg dish or quiche or what ever "hot" they serve is incredible. The scones and pastries are also top notch. Any left over baked goodies are wrapped up for guest to take on hikes, bikes and afternoon snacks. Good people. Good place. Only downside is the really poor TV reception.... More
