Good points: The breakfast was a pretty good buffet. It was free, but I was with a convention. Don't know if this applies to everyone else or not. Lunch and dinner were reasonable--especially for a hotel and I liked the food. There was also one free drink each evening. Again don't know if they have this for everyone or just... More

Although Huntington has done some remarkable work in keeping the downtown attractive, this hotel is way over-due for an update. The 10th floor had an overwhelming odor of sewage. We didn't notice it so much in our room as in the hall....but still.... The whole place is just sad. They do have "sleep number" beds, but ours didn't seem to... More

The Good-Free decent sized breakfast. Friendly staff. Larger than average rooms. Close to Marshall University. Nice lounge. The Bad-It's Huntington! The Fitness room should be in the Smithsonian for its historical value. Hotel is very dated, obviously has not put any money in renovations. Bedding seemed worn.

The hotel itself was standard. Nothing special, but clean. But the service of all employees was substandard. We were in town for a concert and the hotel was packed, but I don't see that as a reason for poor service. But the worst thing, and the reason I will never stay at this hotel again, is that the only parking... More

Stayed at the Pullman Plaza on Saturday March 24th. In Huntington taking my son back to Marshall U stayed overnight to attend concert at nearby Big Sandy Arena. Overall Pulman plaza was a pleasant hotel. LIKES: Staff were friendly at check in, breakfast service, and valet service. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, hotel convenient to restaraunts and churchs in... More

Old rooms and terrible people working the desk. The restaurant was terrible too.

My husband and I stayed overnight on 1/14/12. We were greeted by Rose, who was extremely friendly. We had a room on the 11th floor that overlooked the Ohio river. It was a nice room, but the room was FREEZING! We enjoyed free beverages in the dining room and the bar tender, Mike, was very nice as well. There was... More

I would give staff and the breakfast five stars. Southern hospitality is alive and well here. Breakfast is excellent and the coffee is memorable. As described in many other reviews, the property is slated for a much needed updating. That said, the room was adequately clean and functional. I would consider staying again just to be so close to Huntington's... More

This hotel was the only thing available in the huntington downtown area when we were booking. Lets start with the exterior that is literally falling apart, the hotel is nasty looking. Next will go to the lobby which is old and again falling apart. The rooms at the hotel are gross, the hallways are dingy and scary with office style... More

Yes, I agree that we do need some updates. Our building is in the process of some grand renovations. As you saw from our parking lot. We have a huge dumpster and tube coming down the building since we are in process of these. Our building is getting a much needed paint job that because of the size of our... More
