We have stayed alot of other places in Door county but this was by far the best. It is a little out of date but it is quiet not over crowded and right on a marina. We did the fish boil, the best I have had in Door county. The story teller was excellent and it was such a laid... More

This property deserves at least 10 stars for it's outstanding friendliness, attentive service, excellent food and view. This is a family-owned and run resort that includes a bakery with cinnamon rolls "made the old-fashioned" way and a meal buffet (you can order off the menu but why?) that changes daily and provides carefully prepared foods. Give yourself a lecture on... More

We went to Rowley's restaurant and pub located in Rowleys resort at Rowleys Bay Door Cty. WI. We were on a fall tour with our MG car club, 23 people. The nfood was abuffet. It was set up for lunch with different types of sliced meat for sandwiches. Salad bar, and 2 different soups. Also iced tea or coffee. and... More

I had to laugh when I saw someone's else's post about this place reminding them of the "Dirty Dancing" resort. That really is true. However, the place is clean, staff friendly, and the location is good. This was the most reasonably priced hotel we could find up in Door County. Our friends camped just down the street at the Wagon... More

I must give applause to the dining room and front desk staff, who were very warm and helpful. However, that's where my praise ends. Our lodge room was on the first floor. Everything in the bathroom worked, but paying more attention to repairs, updating, and deep cleaning would be a good idea. I had to adjust the toilet chain several... More

As Snoopy used to say ,”it was a dark and stormy night”…. Such was the day we sailed into Rowley’s Bay to escape the huge storm that was moving through Wisconsin. We called ahead as we approached Rowleys Bay Resort to see if there was space available for us in their marina. The staff at the lodge was extremely helpful... More

My husband came here for a business trip so our kids and I tagged along for a vacation. I've been to Door County years ago and anticipated walking to shopping places with my kids while my husband worked. This resort is very secluded from any tourist place with no shoping within a 10 minute drive. It would be perfect if... More

I stayed at Rowley's Bay Resort during the 2012 Rutabaga Door County Kayak Symposium. I was immediately impressed by the warmth of the staff and my room facing the bay. Free coffee available very early in the morning. A great bakery on site. Excellent reasonably priced food and a nice little pub complete with Irish pubtender. It doesn't get any... More

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in one of the cottages. Some of the pros are: It is quiet, quiet, quiet; although the decor of the cottages is early 80's they are adequate and nice; bakery is awesome; staff is ultra helpful and friendly; plenty to do (game room, pool, whirlpool, tennis courts, volleyball, storyteller before fish boil, boat... My family and I have been staying at Rowleys Bay Resort for long weekends for about six years. I have two children - one in high school and one in elementary school. We sincerely enjoy all our stays at this resort. We have stayed in the lodge and in the vacation homes. All have their advantages - more room to... More
