We have been to this heavenly resort several times and find it to be a relaxing and pleasant experience with wonderful hosts. Would recommend to anyone wanting peace and relaxation at it's north woods finest!

If you like panfish action this is the place. This is a nice quiet spot with several quaint clean cabins. John and Jerri will take care of your needs, always with a smile. When we first drove up to the Wilderness Haven, my first impression was "Oh Crud, what did I get up into". The grounds appear to be storage for stuff they are not sure what to do with. We have gone to Wilderness Haven 3 times now and everytime we go we have the best time. John truely is an amazing man, He shows you the kind of hospitality that you can not even begin to imagion. My husband and I have stayed at other places in Hayward, but keep coming back to the Wilderness Haven Resort. They even let us bring our well behaved dog! The cabins are clean and cozy.
