Each year I set up a Fri/Sat Golf Outing in early/mid May. We generally have 12 middle age guys and play 36 holes each day using the Spring Golf package. The rate includes 72 holes of golf at their Glacier and Prairie Golf Courses, dinner, breakfast, and a room. Under the guidance of Pro Dave Walsh, the course has improved... More

Since Old Man Winter has decided to hang on this year, my family and I took a quick trip to Devil's Head for some very late season skiing. We were told in fact that in their history Devil's Head has never been open for skiing this late in the season ever. While the skiing was great, the slopes were nicely... More

A buddy and I drove up from Chicago for the weekday special ($145 for 1 night hotel room and two all day lift tickets). Plenty of free parking and the check in was smooth. The rooms in the lodge building were simple and clean and the beds were comfy. I would rate it a 2.75 Star (between a Holiday Inn... More

Really enjoyed our trip to Devils Head. Green slopes were very very easy but long enough to enjoy. We spent most of the day skiing blue/black slopes. Would be an excellent place for beginner skiers!!! Lift lines moved quickly. However we felt they ran their lifts too fast. We saw several experienced skiers struggle getting on and off the lifts.... We stayed overnight to ski early and not have to drive back to chicago. We got a room on the second level. Ok so not the hotels fault on the herds of kids running up and down the halls playing football and banging the hotel doors but it was so obnoxious. You can hear the person next door whisper. I... I came up here with girlfriend for her to try skiing for the first time from Chicago. We decided to stay in Madison the first night, drive up early afternoon for skiing, then stay the night at the resort's inn for convenience. Skiing: first the resort ran out of ski poles, and then they ran out of skis...this after we... More

My husband and I scheduled a 2 night stay in a "suite" for a weekend of golfing. While the golf course was very nice, the hotel and amenities were horrible! Our so called suite was not only expensive it was dated and unmaintained. Curtains were hanging because of broken hooks, the furniture reeked of dirty bodies. The pillows were old,... More

Recently spent a long weekend at the resort. I had booked here based on close proximity to a race held nearby. After booking I read some reviews here and expected the worst. I made it a special point to pick the experience apart...I had a tough time. Check-in was smooth and quick. The resort was very quiet the whole weekend... More

This was made out to be such a grand place. Hotel was in need of upgrading. Pillows flat & hard. Room fair. Did find 2 roaches in bathroom. We were at wedding, & many issues arose with carrying out couples plans. Food very good, but expensive. Drinks fair, but very expensive for the area. Disappointing stay.
