Our initial reaction when entering the lobby was, "We are NOT going to stay here!" Lobby carpet and stairs were dirty, with chunks of mud all over and had a stale cigarette smell, there were several people sprawled out on chairs and standing around, and no one was behind the desk! Located in close proximity to Univ of Wisconsin Platteville. This Super 8 is a good value. Staff is very polite. Check-in and out was smooth and uneventful.
