We were led to believe the non-refundable $10 reservation fee would be applied to the room charge. Turns out, it's added to the charge, costing one an extra $10. The room was clean, but dated- nothing special, but cost $82 for non seasonal rate-too high in my opinion.

We were excited to have the opportunity to stay in an Inn designed by one of Frank Lloyd Wright's students while visiting Taliesin. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was newly remodeled. Our hostess, Caroline was very helpful and offered a hairdryer to use at check in. We were in room 11 and the wifi did not work.... More

If the cost had reflected the state/upkeep of the motel, I would give it more stars. But having paid top prices for a room that was, well, awful, felt, well, awful. Hearing the Usonian Inn was designed by a Frank Lloyd Wright protege made this the perfect stay when seeing Taliesin. The room is sparse, as expected, but clean and comfortable. I stayed there numerous times, never dissatisfied. I especially enjoyed the quietness, and the wine. I know I'll stop by there every so often. Yeah, probably you'd never guess it from the fast-drive highway (US14) that passes in front of the place. In fact, you may miss it altogether. A very good lodging place, for sure! PWN

What an absolute lovely place to stay! The beds were clean & comfy, the owners were delightful, and there is so much to see and do in that area. The cost was very economical too!! The owners obviously take pride in their hotel, and it shows!
